Richard Fernandez brings over 35 years of development and hospitality experience to his role as COO at Falconwood. He previously served as Senior Vice President for Ward-Garcia Lines and Walton Myers Group Ltd., managing operations across Latin America and the Caribbean.
Richard later founded Newline Holdings, along with two sister companies focused on hotel ownership, construction, and management. Together, they renovated and operated thousands of hotel units across the U.S. His expertise in hospitality operations and development ensures Falconwood’s projects are executed efficiently and perform at a high level. Richard’s leadership bridges day-to-day execution with long-term strategic growth.
James Hannon is a 40-year real estate veteran with deep expertise in development, construction, and capital structuring. Since entering the industry in 1984, he has led the development of over 900 homes across 18 subdivisions and numerous commercial assets, including hotels, office buildings, storage facilities, retail centers, and assisted living communities.
In 1991, James founded a full-service development and construction firm in Brevard County, Florida, which quickly became a major force in the region. He also owns SD&C Contracting, LLC, a Florida-based general contracting company known for high-quality execution across asset types.
James is highly skilled in structuring complex financial deals, combining conventional loans, private equity, EB-5 capital, and alternative financing to support diverse real estate projects. His leadership at Falconwood is grounded in decades of experience and a track record of delivering value through disciplined development and strategic capital planning.
Peter Lash oversees legal strategy and compliance, bringing over 30 years of experience in real estate law with a focus on mixed-use developments, hotels, and off-market acquisitions. Based in Miami Beach, Peter has long-standing relationships within both the legal and financial communities, helping facilitate complex transactions with confidence and clarity.
A graduate of Duke University and Boston University Law School, Peter has advised on projects involving marinas, resorts, and urban infill developments, often navigating regulatory hurdles and guiding entitlement processes. His legal insight plays a key role in keeping Falconwood’s projects secure, compliant, and on track.
